We Are Becoming All The Things We Used To Fight Against.

It is beyond any cerebral premise that it is indeed happening. Nonetheless, it is happening and we are living in denial. Institutions and driving seats are being taken over by bigots and xenophobes. People are being stripped of conscience and the Church of Christ is nodding in agreement, (in some cases we are championing the move which we now call end time battle or defense of God and morality).

We justify ungodly actions and reactions, and heavily defend them with scriptures. We now tell people it is okay to do or say ungodly things to defend God. We have joined the world in a shouting and hostility match where only the cruelest one wins. We are becoming all the things we used to fight against.

The narrative used by many is “God has chosen these people and is using them”. In response to this question, in chat, a brother asked “Are we going to champion and glorify Kings or leaders like Pharaoh, Nebuchadnezzar, Cyrus and Herod etc.  simply because God used them to fulfill His purpose?” The same brother answered saying  “This is the excuse many are using to defend themselves today in supporting persons who now display and carry out ungodly actions they as Christians railed against in the past.”

People who deny or manipulate the truth about genocide, bigotry, racism and extremism in history can barely understand when or why they are justifying it today. They become blind to the fact that humanity is attempting to repeat the same tragedies and crimes against humanity.

The Bible says, “God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Spirit and with power, who went about doing good and healing all who were oppressed by the devil, for God was with Him.” Acts 10:38.

“But you shall receive power when the Holy Spirit has come upon you; and you shall be [a]witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth.” Acts 1:8

The Holy Spirit and Power of God is given to us so we can do good and liberate the afflicted and oppressed.

We, as a church and the body of Christ, need to brace for the manifestation of end time prophecies instead of trying to stop it. Else, we will become all the things we used to fight against.
